Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall - The Truth About Seasonal Hydration

Winter, spring, summer and fall – great lyrics for a song indeed, but what about seasonal hydration, does the “season” matter and how do we adjust our hydration practices to adjust to the changing seasons? Summer is the easy one – the heat, the sweat, the sun, the balmy days of summer make the “need” for hydration self-evident. It is far easier to think about hydration when you have sweat pouring from your glands – then when you are bundled up in winter clothes navigating your way down a ski slope.

Don't Forget Where You Come From!

How do you know where you are going – when you don’t know where you came from or worse yet - you forget where you came from?

I’ll take some heat for this article, but that is OK. You can sit back and watch the world go on around you or you can be involved, I have always chosen to be involved. I have been deeply involved in the irongame for three decades, both in sport and in the industry side, as a gym owner and trainer to my role in the industry as a product developer, researcher and executive involved with numerous sports supplement companies. I guess you could say I have walked the walk, talked the talk and lived the lifestyle. It is in my blood and is here to stay….what may be in question – is “it” here to stay?
